Borgo?
A Borgo, in Italian, signifies a small community, a close-knit village where neighbours become family, and every corner holds a story waiting to be told.
In the Borgo, time seemed to slow down, allowing its inhabitants to savour each moment, to relish the simple pleasures of life, and to celebrate the rich tapestry of Italian culture and tradition. From the aroma of freshly cooked lunch wafting through the cobblestone streets to the laughter of children playing in the piazza, Borgo's are a place where the spirit of Italy comes alive in every corner.
It is within this idyllic setting that our story begins. Inspired by the warmth and hospitality of a Borgo, we set out to create a sanctuary of our own – a place where Sheffield could experience the true essence of Italian culture and cuisine. And so, Borgo - Antica Osteria was born.
